Privacy Policy

What cyprustaxpro.com records, why it is recorded, and how long it is kept.

Last updated: August 2026

The short version

There are no accounts here and we do not ask who you are. We do keep a record of how the site is used, so that mistakes get found and the calculators keep working. The figures you type into a calculator are worked out in your browser — with one exception, below, worth reading before you share a plan link.

Usage logging

Activity on the site is logged — which pages get opened, what gets clicked, and recordings of how people move through the site. It exists to catch bugs, keep the calculators correct, and show which tools are worth improving. Logging runs on every visit and cannot be switched off from inside the site; browser privacy settings, tracker blockers and private browsing all work here if you would rather not be included. Recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days.

The figures you enter into a calculator

Every calculator computes in your browser. Your income, salary, dividends or property values are not sent to us, and no calculation runs on a server.

One exception worth knowing. Some tools — the Annual Tax Planner among them — offer a shareable link that encodes your figures into the page address. Page addresses form part of the usage record above, so generating that link puts those figures into it, and anyone you send the link to can read them. If that matters to you, do not generate the link.

Cookies and browser storage

The logging tools set cookies and use local storage so that several pages viewed in one sitting count as one visit. The site itself keeps one thing: the language you picked, so the selector can show it. That preference stays on your device and is not used to redirect you.

The contact form

The name, email address, phone number and message you submit are passed to the site operator so the enquiry can be read and answered. They are used for that and nothing else — no mailing list, no onward sharing.

Who else is involved

The logging, the hosting and the contact relay are run by third-party service providers on our behalf, each under its own terms. Nothing is sold, and nothing is passed to advertising networks.

Your rights

Cyprus is in the EU, so the GDPR applies. You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to it being kept. Because none of it is tied to a name unless you sent us one, finding your records may need the rough time and pages of your visit. Requests go through the contact form, and you also have the right to complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

Changes: this policy is updated as the site changes. The date above reflects the most recent revision.
